Timothy A. Lander, M.D.

Dr. Lander joined Pediatric ENT Associates in 2002. He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is a fellowship-trained pediatric otolaryngologist and a member of the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology (ASPO). Dr. Lander provides care in all areas of our practice, with special interests in ear surgery, airway reconstruction, cleft lip and palate, and vascular malformations.

Originally from Edina, Dr. Lander attended the University of Minnesota's Institute of Technology, earning his Baccalaureate degree with distinction in computer science and was elected to Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Fraternity.

He went on to study medicine at the University of Minnesota Medical School. He represented the Medical School as a member of the Graduate and Professional Student Association and the University Senate. He was also elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

Dr. Lander completed his residency training in Otolaryngology at the University of California, San Diego. He then returned home to Minnesota to complete his fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota and the University of Minnesota. He holds a clinical appointment at the University of Minnesota as an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Otolaryngology.

Dr. Lander has travelled overseas many times with Children's Surgery International, a Minnesota-based organization that provides surgical care for underpriviledged children with cleft lip and palate in foreign countries.

Also a skilled software engineer, Dr. Lander has designed numerous database applications to analyze basic science and clinical research data. He helped design and now helps maintain our practice's electronic medical records (EMR) system. He also designed, built, and maintains this web site for Pediatric ENT Associates.
